55th Reunion - August 5, 2023

We wish to express our appreciation to our very special Military Troops. They are the reason we are able to enjoy our freedom today. We have the utmost respect for these men and women for their strength, courage and selfless service to the people of the United States of America. Our gratitude extends to each and every classmate with family members who have served or are serving in the military.

The Reunion Committee decided this year that we would make a donation to the Wyoming Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans in honor of the Class of 68 Veterans which also included spouses of the classmates. We held a Silent Auction with items donated by members of the reunion committee and a local business. We also had a 50/50 raffle where 1/2 the proceeds went to a lucky classmate and the other 1/2 would be donated to the DAV. The classmate whose ticket was drawn, was Linda Cropper Vestal. She generously donated her winnings back to be included in our fundraising endeavor. We also had a standing jar where donations could be made. All in all, the Class of 68 raised $1,250.00!!

Committee member, Larry Sandman, coordinated the event. Many kudos to Larry for the wonderful idea and many thanks to all the classmates that generously contributed to the fundraising event. On September 20, 2023, Larry, Jeri Burns Olsen and Rob Morris met with members of the Wyoming Chapter of the DAV to present our check. They were VERY appreciative of our donation.
